Includes two certificates of honorable discharge for the same soldier in a folder dated 1945 and distributed by the House of Seagram.
The first certificate's discharge is dated 7 September, 1939 and the soldier was a private in the United States Army in the medical department. Discharge paper indicates that 2 days were lost under AW107, AWOL.
He apparently reenlisted 5 days hence (12 September, 1939), and was discharged 3 August, 1945. His rank at the time of this discharge was Staff Sergeant, and his paperwork indicates that he was awarded a Good Conduct metal, American Defense Service medal, and American Theater Campaign ribbon. The paperwork indicates eight days lost under AW107, AWOL.

Both certificates are original, and have age-appropriate blemishes, folds, and/or aging.
