This rare and stunning set of 8 signed vintage drinking glasses was created by Gay Fad Studios, featuring the richly ornate “Renaissance” pattern introduced in 1958. Each glass is decorated in 24-karat gold panels w/ scrolling detail and is signed by Gay Fad Studios, ensuring authenticity. The Renaissance pattern is among Gay Fad’s most elaborate mid-century designs, often mistaken for Culver but rarer and more documented.

These glasses were given as a wedding gift to my parents in the late 1950s. Out of fear they might be broken, my mother carefully wrapped them in protective paper and stored them away in a climate-controlled room. They remained untouched and unused for over six decades. After my father’s passing in 2024, the set was rediscovered—still as brilliant as the day they were gifted.
