The Tektro HD-J285 Junior is a disc brake and lever set designed for youth bikes or individuals who want a lever with a shorter reach. It is an open system, dual piston hydraulic post mount brake that can be used with thumb or twist shifters. The Tektro HD-J285 Junior has a 2-finger aluminum lever blade with a cast aluminum one-piece clamp that is durable and lightweight. It also has a forged aluminum caliper that uses non-corrosive mineral oil and has excellent heat expansion properties. The Tektro HD-J285 Junior has low noise brake pads and reach adjustment that allows riders to get the proper fit.
One brake caliper isn’t attached to the hose line.
